  • The 55th Anniversary of armed force Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was organized in New Delhi on 24th December, 2018. The chief guest at the ceremony was Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju.
  • Delegates from Nepal and Bhutan were also present during the Raising Day parade. The event also had parade of 52 international medalists from SSB, martial arts and mountaineering skills demonstration, performance by dare devil team, a motorcycle squad of SSB in the conclusion.
  • President Police medal and Indian Police Medal was presented by Minister to the staffs and officers. SSB, previously known as Special Service Bureau is India`s Central Armed Police Force controlled by Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
