- The 55th Anniversary of armed force Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) was organized in New Delhi on 24th December, 2018. The chief guest at the ceremony was Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju.
- Delegates from Nepal and Bhutan were also present during the Raising Day parade. The event also had parade of 52 international medalists from SSB, martial arts and mountaineering skills demonstration, performance by dare devil team, a motorcycle squad of SSB in the conclusion.
