  • Contracts worth Rs. 65,471.28 crores have been signed with Indian Vendors for procurement of defence equipment in the last three financial years i.e. from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
  • Defence sector promotes Make in India for manufacturing the defence equipment in country by harnessing the capability of both Public and Private sector. It sets to promote indigenous design, development and manufacture of defence equipments.
