- On June 5th, 2018 Bihar government in the meeting of Cabinet decided to start a new Crop Assistance Scheme named “Bihar Rajya Fasal Sahayata Yojna”.
- This insurance scheme will be effective for Kharif season -2018 this year.
- Under the scheme, farmers will be compensated at a rate of 7500 per hectare in case of a fall of less than 20% in production.
