  • On 15th February 2019, a three-day summit was inaugurated by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Mr. Radha Mohan Singh at the India International Horticulture Market (IIHM) in Ganaur, Sonipat District, Haryana.
  • The theme of the Summit was, Entrepreneurship and Agri-Business; Agri Allied – A Promising Sector and Agri-Service – Direct Marketing.
  • Punjab, Haryana and Delhi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) were the institutional partner at the summit, and will commence under the aegis of the Government of Haryana. 
  • Its objective was to provide a platform to a large number of progressive farmers, FPOs (farmer producer organizations), agri input and agri-produce processing industry, from the state and across the country, for interaction with policymakers, scientists and technologists, with overall objectives of increasing the income and quality of life of the farmers and attract investment in agro-related industry in the state.
  • The Summit have key functionaries, representing the state as well industry leaders and experts from the relevant sectors to make the Summit absolutely conclusive in its intended objectives. 
  • President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the closing ceremony of the summit and launched the Digital Kisan Platform also conferred Krishi Ratna Puraskar and Kisan Ratna Puraskar.
