- Typhoon Mangkhut was originated near the International Date Line and traveled west ward, after crossing the Guam and Mariana it first touched the ground in Cagayan province of Philippines on Sunday.

How a typhoon formed-
Like any tropical cyclone, there are six main requirements for typhoon formation:
- Sufficiently warm sea temperature
- Atmospheric instability
- High humidity in the lower to middle levels of the troposphere
- Enough Coriolis force to develop a low-pressure center
- A pre-existing low-level focus or disturbance
- Low vertical wind shear.
