  • On 30 January 2017; the Supreme Court appointed committee of four administrators to run the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
  • The panel will be headed by former Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG), and the current Chairman of Banks Board Bureau, Vinod Rai.
  • Committee also includes the legendary women test cricket player, Diana Edulji.
  • Besides Vinod Rai and Diana Edulji, the Supreme Court appointed noted historian Ramchandra Guha and IDFC Ltd MD and CEO Vikram Limaye, who will provide the committee with expertise in financial matters.
  • Limaye will also represent the BCCI in the International Cricket Council meeting to be held on February 2, 2017, along with BCCI Joint Secretary Amitabh Choudhary and Treasurer Anirudh Chaudhry.
