  • Environmentalist and Ganga Activist Professor GD Agrawal (87) also called Swami Gyan Swaroop Sanand died of cardiac arrest at AIIMS Rishikesh on 18th October 2018.
  • He was on a fast-unto-death in Haridwar’s Matri Sadan ashram on the issue of conservation of river Ganga.
